The Enforcement Case Management System for Regulated Areas is a pioneer drive of the Housing and Urban Planning Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is meticulously designed to take stern actions against the illegal constructions in regulated areas of Uttar Pradesh. This user-friendly management system is carefully planned to curb the illicit construction activities and keep a consistent check on such practices. This software is designed and customized to facilitate monitoring of illegal building sites and works tediously to prevent encroachment of properties and safeguard regulated lands. The UP government took the initiative for the design of an automated and objective procedure for the detection of informal constructions.
Mobile phones with GPS functionality can be used to access the app while computers can be used to operate the software. Junior Engineers will monitor the devices for unauthorized construction or illegal encroachment. The information gathered from these devices will be shared with the Prescribed Authority so that appropriate actions can be taken.
Hence, for this purpose, the solution uses geo tagging to identify illicit construction activities in a given regulated area, filter out illegal activities, and user-generated information to notify authorities about operations that aren't covered under permit.
